Welcome, and thank you for having a look at my photographic art on our website. I’d like to introduce you to the world I know and see. My photographs do not arise from any particular desire to see the world through a lens, but rather from my deep passion for exploring nature's ever changing environment, capturing human emotion and social interactions. Even in the hands of a photographic master, a camera alone will never capture an image as observed and felt with all of our senses. My goal is to illustrate these multi-dimensional images as best as I can within the limits of the two-dimensional photographic medium.
We don't believe in over editing our images and thus I generally don't add or remove anything significant from them, however there is never an absolute definition of what I saw in the images to begin with. How we see, is a very personal thing. A great photograph is thus not merely a documented image but the fusing of the image as seen through the photographic artist's eyes.
I believe the most important quality of a photograph, as in all of art, is to evoke an emotional response and tell a story. While every photograph does this, selecting just the right places and moments to take the shot that conveys those emotions and tells the story is far more difficult. My camera and editing software are just some of the tools I use to achieve my final results, the images you see here.
